Cattery “Chryso Oneiro”

Welcome to Chryso Oneiro Cattery!

My name is Marina, and I am the founder of Chryso Oneiro (which translates from Greek as “Golden Dream”), a young but highly promising cattery located in Thessaloniki, Greece, Europe. We specialize in breeding Scottish Fold and Scottish Straight cats. Our cattery is officially registered with the WCF (World Cat Federation).

Chryso Oneiro is a cozy, family-run cattery where our cats live in a warm, cage-free home environment, surrounded by love, care, and attention. They grow up alongside us, sleep in our beds, play, cuddle, and truly become vital members of our family. To ensure the health and well-being of our future kittens, all our breeding cats undergo mandatory testing for genetic diseases and infections.

How It All Began It all started when we were visiting a mutual friend who owned several cats, and we saw newborn Scottish kittens for the very first time. That meeting was fateful — the breed instantly captured our hearts with their charming appearance and wonderful temperament. Later, the owner asked us to look after a pregnant cat until she gave birth. Despite having no prior experience, my husband and I agreed.

Caring for her and her little ones brought us so much joy and tenderness that we made a defining decision: we wanted to have our own cats. After a family discussion, we welcomed not just a female cat, but a male as well. Our boy arrived from England, and our girl came from Moldova.

That is how Chryso Oneiro, our Scottish cat cattery in Greece, came to life — a place where every kitten is surrounded by warmth, care, and true love from their very first days.
