My name is Marina Nagaeva, and I am the founder of Chryso Oneiro (Greek for "Golden Dream"), a young but promising cattery located in Thessaloniki, Greece. We specialize in breeding Scottish Fold and Scottish Straight cats.
Our cattery is officially registered with the WCF (World Cat Federation). It's a cozy, family-run cattery where cats live in a homey atmosphere—cage-free, surrounded by love, care, and attention. They grow up with us, sleep on our bed, play, cuddle, and become true members of our family.
All our breeding kittens undergo mandatory testing for genetic diseases and infections, which guarantees the health and well-being of future kittens.
How it all began: one day, while visiting a mutual friend who had several cats, we saw newborn Scottish Fold kittens for the first time. This meeting proved fateful—the breed immediately captivated us with its appearance and character. The owner asked us to look after the cat until she gave birth, and despite our lack of experience, my husband and I agreed. Caring for her and the kittens was so touching and joyful that we decided we wanted cats of our own.
After a family meeting, we decided to get not only a female cat, but also a male cat. Our male cat came from England, and our female cat came from Moldova. This is how our Scottish Fold cattery in Greece, Chryso Oneiro, was born—a place where every kitten is surrounded by warmth, care, and genuine love from the first days of life.
